21-06-2020 Korte onderbreking DNS diensten / Short interruption DNS services

Op zondag 21 juni, tussen 15:25 en 15:31 waren er korte problemen in onze DNS services. Hier hebben klant VM’s in ons platform in Nederland mogelijk ook last van gehad. De oorzaak wordt nog onderzocht.

Update 22-06-2020

Er was een aanval gaande op onze DNS servers. Voor deze specifieke aanval hadden wij al beveiligingsmaatregelen klaar staan. Deze zullen nu versneld getest worden, en volgende week doorgevoerd worden.

On sunday, june 21, between 15:25 and 15:31 there were some short problems in our DNS services. Some customer VM’s in our platform in Holland might have experienced issues because of this. Our engineers are looking into the cause.

Update 22-06-2020 :

There was an attack aimed at our DNS servers. For this particular scenario we already developed countermeasures. These will now be tested with higher priority, and we will take the changes into production next week.
